Perfectly Imperfect (PI.FYI)

Perfectly Imperfect, or PI.FYI, for short started as a newsletter and became a social network. Now, it’s the only social network where I genuinely ENJOY posting and engaging with content. Maybe it’s the bespoke design — think Myspace meets Reddit presented in the style of a Y2K message board or digital zine. Or, perhaps it’s because the entire experience is built solely around recommendations and questions. Those contexts seem to help deter negativity and toxic behavior. Who would recommend something shitty, or ask a mean question? Sure it could happen, but as it stands, the current community using it is all about positivity. Oh yea, there’s also no ads…for now. So, maybe that’s it. No matter the reason, it’s a great hang with helpful/cool recs. Hopefully it can continue on this way without growing into something terrible. FOLLOW ME.
